The Viacheslav Chornovil Estate-Museum
The proclamation and establishment of an independent Ukraine can not be described without the name of Vyacheslav Chornovil. The man who changed the country to some extent in the most difficult time of her search for freedom and future. It is difficult to overestimate his role in domestic politics.
Vyacheslav Chornovil was a native of Cherkassy, Zvenigorod Vilhovets the village district, where he spent his childhood. Relatives policy agreed to give his father`s house for the installation of the memorial museum, which is now a branch of the Cherkasy regional museum.

History museum
Museum quite young, his story begins in 2007, when on the 70th anniversary of Vyacheslav Chornovil launched the exhibition in the house. The house was handed over to the Cherkasy Regional History Museum sister Valentina Maksymivna dissident. So the museum is its subsidiary. Today it is visited annually by thousands of tourists, especially residents of Western Ukraine, which V. Chornovil did especially much.
