National Museum of Arts named after Bogdan and Varvara Khanenko, formerly known as the Kyiv Museum of Western and Oriental Art, gathers hundreds of fans every day.

The Museum of Art offers the tourists enjoy medieval paintings and sculptures. The gallery presents works of different styles and times. The pride of the museum was the picture of the famous painter Diego Velazquez `portrait of the Infanta Margarita ". Equally valuable are the works of Bellini and two series of Goya. In the museum are works by Rubens, Teniers, Boucher and other famous artists. In ancient Egyptian collection are rarities.

The gallery is located directly in the heart of Kyiv , unmatched in the estate, which belonged to the family Khanenko. The founders of the museum collection became a couple, after whom the gallery is named. They spent many years and a great deal on acquisition of foreign art exhibits. With its delicate taste and good figuring in art, Bogdan and Varvara constantly replenish their collection, their collection steadily increased. When the building has no place for another masterpiece, they had decided to expand the area of his estate to be able to put all existing exhibits. Their collection includes about 2,000 paintings and sculptures.

Thanks to sponsors and other admirers of painting in the museum exhibits increased the number 13 times. Museum doors are always open for anyone who wants to touch the beautiful and rich spiritually.
