Zalevs'kyi House
On the ground floor of this lovely home in the 30s of the last century housed pastry shop Ludwik Zalewski. It was the largest candy store in Lviv ! Visitors praised the delicious cakes and elegance of the institution.
Here produced candy "Tayoyki", whose name comes from the expression of Lviv "she yoy." Sweets Zalewski were known abroad - came for them clients from different cities.
Later sweet tradition was continued during the Soviet era - opened confectionery "Svitoch". Now here is the Grand Club "Sofia".
Interestingly, this house has described the famous Stanislav Lem`s autobiographical novel "High Castle".
