The Eternal Glory Monument
One of the main monuments of the city of Dnipropetrovsk is the Monument of Eternal Glory, dedicated to the soldiers-partisans and underground fighters who died during the Great Patriotic War. In the center of the memorial are the statues of Soviet heroes, carved in white stone. On the granite dais installed titanium figure of a young woman with a wreath on his head, which represents the Motherland. In her right hand she holds a torch, and the left - a palm branch. The authors of the monument are the architects E. Yu and A. Cherkasov Maksymenko, sculptors MF Ovsyankin and VI Agibalov.
