Prometheus Monument

The main attraction Dniprodzerzhyns`k and its symbol - the monument "Uninhibited Prometheus", which stands near the entrance of metallurgical combine.

Opening of the monument took place in 1922, in honor of the fifth anniversary of the October Revolution. In his left hand holds a torch Prometheus, and the right piece of broken chains stiffened, lay at his feet stilled bird of prey in the royal crown. In 2000, Prometheus has been replaced by a more modern version of the monument, a statue of the same original can be seen near the city museum.
