Dzhuryn Waterfall

Dzhurinsky Falls - one of the most famous waterfalls in western Ukraine. His name shall aqueous handsome eponymous river Dzhurin.

Locals love to tell the ancient legend of how during the attacks of the enemy forces of the Turks, the townspeople were hiding in the walls of the medieval fortress. Water into it from the river Dzhurin. The enemy, knowing this, cunningly diverted for so that an impregnable citadel was left without a vital source. A consequence of this was an amazing waterfall cascades which reach a height of several meters.

Today extent Dzhurinsky waterfall is 16 meters. The water pressure is so great that, being close to the falling water, it is difficult to hear other sounds. A great complement to a flowing waterfall is a beautiful forest landscape.

But a miracle of nature, travelers to see and creation of human hands - a nearby castle Chervonograd . Rather, it is the ruins of the castle-fortress, which have been preserved from the ancient city. After the Second World War, the city has disappeared from the face of the earth, there were only two abandoned towers that keep the memory of the historical events of 12-13 centuries.
