Each city is proud of its heroes. The exploits of some not forget decades. About them, remember, shoot films. In their hometowns put them monuments and memorials. This also applies to those heroes who during the Great Patriotic War pushed forward with their lives in their land invaders.
Stela Heroes in Krivoy Rog was established in the city for a memorable day - the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Krivoy Rog from Nazi invaders. This historical memorial complex is located in the middle of the park Heroes and, together with the bell tower of St. George and the monument of the Unknown Soldier, he is a single composition.
Visiting this stele is both impressive and provides a glimpse into the past. Unique mosaics on the walls introduces the pages of military events. The very form of the stele also has a certain value. It is made in the shape of a circle, which can be reached by passing through an alley. This circle reminds us that during the war the soldiers did not just fall into the cordon. If you go inside, you realize what a powerful wall stood Soviet soldiers for his people, trying to protect it from invaders.
