Book Museum, Lutsk

Have you ever seen the smallest book? And the oldest? All this and more can be seen in the Museum of the book in Lutsk.

The museum is located in the   Lutsk castle . Entrance to the museum   free. The museum is relatively young. The museum exposition is constantly updated.

At the entrance to the museum, visitors are greeted   antique printing press. This powerful machine in human growth, which once published the first book in the Ukraine. In the first room of the museum exhibited a whole collection of other printing machines. Here there is a medieval wooden units and more modern machines. Can accurately trace the development of printing in Europe.

In another room are   ancient manuscripts, early printed editions and other interesting exhibits. Some museum rarities so unusual and unique for modern people that they can be examined for hours.
