Volyn Local Lore Museum
In the heart of Lutsk near the park named after Lesya Ukrainka, just a block away from the cozy park Voroshilov and the Museum of military equipment is the oldest and largest museum of the city - Volyn museum. Its members also include Kolodyazhnensky literary-memorial museum of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn Icon Museum , the Art Museum and others.
The museum`s collections are impressive scale. It houses more than 120 thousand exhibits objects of history, art, ethnography and nature. Special attention is given an impressive exposition of natural-scientific and geological materials, as well as plants and animals. During the year, the museum staff organized more than 70 thematic exhibitions.
The museum is open to visitors every day except Saturday and Monday.
