St. Macarius Church
Holy Makarii church - the only wooden church in Kiev . Its age is more than a hundred years. Is a temple on Mount Tatarka in the city center. According to legend, it is in these places was buried Prince Oleg. In the 1860s, the area was inhabited by 60 families of Tatar settlement and thus bears the name of the mountain.
