Common Kingfisher Sculpture

Unusual sculpture in an unusual place: Square Kiev intellectuals became a place of "nesting" Kingfisher sculpture. His bashful look with slightly bent head over to the author personifies the capital`s intelligentsia.

Bird with a cane "armpit" not averse to soar skyward, but prikipev heart to their homes, not solved it. The author explains: kingfisher by nature shy and timid, embarrassed him for everything that happens around. So he often hides his head under the wing.

Sculptor Constantin Skritutsky their job wanted to convey that in our time the intellectuals become an endangered species, soon, alas, it may be in the Red Book.
