Carmelite Monastery, Vishnevets
Carmelite Monastery, located in the village Vishnevets , is one of the models of the monastery Catholic Order, who follow the faith of the monks, hermits with Mr. Carmel. The monastery was built in the 1640s. It is located on the street Castle. With the participation of Vyshnevetsky was built and Baroque church (1645).
During the attack of the Cossack troops led by M. Krivonos, the monastery was badly damaged. Later it was restored, but in 1832 the Carmelite monastery doors closed again.
