Museum, Zalischyky
History Museum was founded in 1929 in Zalishchyky seminary teacher J. Schwartz, in those days, the city is the territory of Poland.
During its existence Museum gathered more than 16 thousand exhibits, some of which has been obtained as a result of archaeological research, and some were donated by local residents. A relatively recently supplemented their materials on the participation of local people in the organizations of patriotic bias such as the OUN, UGS, UPA and others.
The building that houses the museum, damaged during the Second World War and the restoration of the institution began in 1964, moving exhibits to abolish Protection Church . In 1985, the Regional Museum moved to the premises of the regional House of Folk Art, which is today. Since 2002, the museum bears its current name.
Visit the museum is completely free. In return for a tour of the museum accepts donations.
