Tomb Nachman
Rebbe Nachman found repose in the cemetery of Uman for the Jews, so it was his last will. Tzadik, which in Hebrew means "righteous," Rabbi died in 1810 at age 38 of tuberculosis. He was the founder of the orthodox branch of Judaism.
When Ukraine came Nazi persecution of the Jewish people, the grave of the righteous was razed to the ground. And the Soviet government ordered the construction of a new residential area on the site of the former cemetery.
