Malaya Synagogue Coast
Small synagogue in Beregove - the only active Jewish religious building in the city, which is considered a major center of Hungarian culture in Transcarpathia. The synagogue was built in the early 1920s, about the same period, the building was erected and the Jewish ritual bath, standing side by side.
Sometime in Beregove had as many as six synagogues. Survive the Soviet period was not all places of worship. Applicable as there is only one - the so-called "small synagogue." Jewish believers in Beregove has no more than 40 people, but the shrine is still the only center of Jewish religious and cultural life of the city.
Some time ago, the synagogue was completely renovated. Despite the fact that she replaced the roof and windows, furniture repaired and restored the interior, the temple has completely preserved its original appearance. On the ground floor there is a room for prayer and the Great Hall, which is used for religious and cultural activities.
