Lutsk brewery

Old brewery company in Ukraine - Lutsk brewery - its appearance is obliged to the Czech Josef Zeman, who moved to our region with his family. Matured, his son, Vaclav, was the founder of the brewery, which earned in 1888.

In the 20th century wooden Nala complex burned, the rehabilitation and construction of a new factory of bricks took two years. The heyday of the brewery company came in 1913. Four types of beer produced by Czech, received awards at international exhibitions and even took the Grand Prix in the French capital.

The company became a family business that hardworking Zeman gave his son-in. But to keep the brewery in his hands that could not be - the territory of Volhynia went to the Soviet Union, and all private companies were nationalized. In Soviet times, the plant was part of the state beer and soft drinks company, and only after the collapse of USSR withdrew into private ownership.

Ten years ago it was launched production of beer, which was named after the founder of the brewery - Zeman. To try the products of this company, it is better to go to Volyn, because it is the main market, which comes foamy drink made ​​according to old recipes.
