Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin, Zvenyachin
Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin, together with the surrounding residential buildings, can be seen far from the slope of the ravine, where it is located. This town, which stands on the banks of the Dniester River is called Zvenyachin (Chernivtsi region).
White stone church with high walls resembles a fortification: an extension of the entrance to the temple is placed a massive square bell tower bunk, which is similar in its structure to a defensive watchtower. Earlier in the neighborhood ran way from Bukovina to Galicia. One can clearly see the temple three components: a semi-circular apse, a rectangular nave and porch with a bell tower. The roof of the shrine, as well as vertical wide stripes that extend from the bottom up, painted bright blue paint, which is combined with white walls and very noticeable on the background of the surrounding lush greenery. Glaucus church is octagonal drum, covered with a pyramidal cone and a golden cross. Smooth walls are decorated with large attractions arched windows and extended relief under the roof overhang.
