Knyshov park, Borispol

In one of the oldest cities in the Kiev region stretches Knyshova Memorial Park. It was opened in 2007 in Borispol .   Park complex was built on the site of an ancient cemetery, which is of great importance in the history of the country. There are many famous people are buried. Among them: a rebel Vasily Lukashevich, a fighter pilot Mikhail Babkin, Ukrainian folklorist, ethnographer Paul Chubinskii.

During the famine of 1932-1933 there were mass burial of the dead people. Once upon a time in this park complex is an ancient Nicholas Church, which was destroyed in 1934, along with the tomb of P. Chubinskogo.

Today park cleaned and ordered, in its territory is building the memorial complex of the same name. The building of the temple was rebuilt almost from scratch, but the restorers managed to recreate the unique architectural style of bygone years.
