Holy Transfiguration Church, Deaf
In the central part Glukhova located Transfiguration Church, which was built in 1765. In the development of the project was attended by such famous architects as A. kvass and I. Grigorovich-Barsky.
Transfiguration Church built of stone. The construction has a pyramidal composition and refers to the tower-like temples.
During the reign of Soviet power the church was closed for ministry and parishioners. Thorough restoration managed to hold only in the 80s of the last century. In 1989 the church was solemnly returned to believers.
Tiered bell tower of the church in the classical style was built in the early 19th century. Radical restructuring of the church building began in 1867, during which was completely dismantled its western part.
Transfiguration Church belongs to the most perfect and original temples of Ukraine. The richness of its external and internal decoration is striking in its scope all visitors.
