Christmas Sergius church

The beginning of this majestic building was laid in 1998 with the blessing of Metropolitan of Kharkov and Bogodukhov Nicodemus. Began to build a shrine to the 2000th anniversary of the birth of Christ and in the name of St. Sergius of Radonezh.

In 1999, the church was opened for service. In 2001 the church was finally built. From now on, there is stored the main shrine - the image of St. Sergius of Radonezh with a fragment of his relics donated to Alexy II. Before Christmas 2007 Metropolitan Nicodemus consecrated images and paintings in the upper church. On the walls were paintings that tell about the main stages of the life of Jesus Christ. Impressive magnificent stained glass windows made ​​by classical technology from fragments of colored glass, specially interconnected. For better protection against damage to the entire painting a thin layer of wax.
