Museum, Krasnohrad

History Museum in Krasnograd one of the oldest regional museums in Ukraine. It was founded in 1922   , with the active participation of the famous Ukrainian folklorist, painter and ethnographer P. Martynovich. Today, the full name of the museum is named after its founder.

In 20 years at the museum, there were about 7,000 exhibits, now their number has increased by 3 times and is   about 20 thousand. facilities. The museum is unique in the fact that the exhibition presents objects that reveal not only the rich history and culture of the area, but also dedicated to the development of industry in the region. Exhibits tell the story of creation Belevsky fortress - a defensive structure that was part of the Ukrainian fastening line.
