Museum of the History of the Dnieper State Academy of Construction and Architecture
History Museum of the Dnieper State Academy of Construction and Architecture opened at the University. It is located in one of the buildings of the university, on the street Chernyshevsky. The museum has a detailed explanation of long-term history of the main building of the University of the city.
The museum exposition
The grand opening of the museum took place on April 30, 1975. The museum exposition is divided into several thematic exhibitions, which highlight the different stages of activity of the university. Total is 8 sections:
- history of the university
- Or university in the Great Patriotic War,
- during the post-war reconstruction,
- Institute for the period of independent Ukraine and others.
The materials presented in the exhibition are also structured in groups, there is information that tells us about the structure and characteristics of the learning process, part of the scientific staff, the main events of student life, as well as participation in the circles of amateur performances and sports activities.
History Museum in the cultural life of the university
History Museum of the Dnieper State Academy of Construction and Architecture is the venue for the traditional student holidays. The open day here give prospective students to explore the history of the university.
There are regular exhibitions of students` works, as well as various awards for sports and artistic achievements. Students are frequent meetings with veterans, as well as prominent scientists and university graduates. Also part of the tour for the first-year students, graduates of the academy, students of preparatory courses and just everyone.
