Museum of the History of the State Medical Academy
Museum of the History of the State Medical Academy in Dnepropetrovsk created solely by the initiative group of students and teachers of the university. The museum consecrated history of the institution, the stages of its activities as well as stories and biographies of famous medicine.
The grand opening of the museum was dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Academy. Its area is about 440 square meters.
The museum exposition
The museum`s collection of more than 3,000 subjects, is personal belongings professors and scientists who worked at the university, their portraits, numerous documents, awards and other points of interest.
Thanks to the active support of the teachers of the university on the basis of the museum held a private exhibition of the University teachers, so here you can find such interesting displays as a collection of bells of different countries, provided Lyudmila Nowitzki exhibition of 15 paintings by prominent artists collected by Associate Professor G. Kilikinovoy, exhibition of paintings by S. Stebelskoy "Nature Dnieper "and many other interesting thematic exhibitions.
Museum of History and cultural life of the university
Museum of the State Medical Academy is a center of cultural life of the entire university. It is aimed at an active spiritual education of all students of the university. The Open Day here leads all prospective students to explore the history of the university.
Also, all students are constantly organizing excursions. Within the walls of the museum are held poetry readings, which are actively involved not only university students but also teachers.

Right in the courtyard of the Academy is a monument to students and staff of the Medical Institute, also located near the Sevastopol city park with interesting objects such as the monument to Heroes of Sevastopol defense in 1854-1855 period and the tomb of Ivan Manchuria.
