Valentine Feliksovich Voyno Yasenetsky-known as a world-renowned surgeon, outstanding scientist and professor of medicine, author of scientific works on contaminated surgery, theologian, preacher, spiritual writer.
After finishing medical faculty of Kiev University of St. Vladimir, he worked all his life surgeon, became the founder of purulent surgery. He defended his doctoral dissertation, contributed to the development of Soviet and world medicine. Has written many books, he was awarded the Stalin Prize. He was a deeply religious man. In terms of their patients, Valentin F. always treated with a prayer to the Lord.
