Elephant Rock

Elephant Rock refers to the mountain system of Gorgan. Located to the east of the central part of Yaremche . Rock got its name because of its unusual sight. It is formed by flysch outlets - a series of marine clastic rocks of origin. They are not covered by forest and far are somewhat similar to the skin of an elephant. About Elephant infrastructure is well developed, there are recreation centers and hotels, small cafes and eateries. Every tourist has the opportunity to enjoy extraordinary views of the unique natural pearl of the Ukrainian Carpathians.
