History of Puppet Theatre
Puppet theater in the city of Rivne began its history is not so long ago. The debut of the first composition of the troupe began in 1975. Despite the fact that the decision was made based on the regional executive committee, the troupe was soon Union enthusiasts without their own buildings and even inventory. For a month the actors received several buses, costumes and, most importantly, their first base, which was a basement located on the street Manuilsky.
However, the debut performance of the theater passed away from the official of the location. The season was opened staging "Little Fairy" in the village of Mesopotamia. Further theater performances also took place on the road through the villages and towns of Rivne region, and more dedicated space served as a warehouse and rehearsal site.
The construction of the theater building
The question of the permanent placement of the theater finally resolved in 1976. In the same year the foundation of the building was laid. The authors of the project was a group of three talented architects: P. Kondratyuk, M. Honeymooners, S. Tsarinnik. The new facility, it was decided to construct the street Krasnoarmeyskaya, 27. In our time, it bears the name Simon Petliura.
The construction was planned pace and already in 1979 the inhabitants of the city were able to see the completion of the building, made in a modern style. The auditorium was designed by only 256 seats and from the very first performance began to collect notices.
"Golden time"
"Golden Age" of the theater falls exactly on the 80 years. Stationarity allowed to invite a lot of new actors and specialists in it. Do not refuse to representatives of the directors and talented amateur groups. In 1989 the theater was awarded the highest artistic category.
In independent Ukraine creative team continues its fruitful work and receives a well-deserved award in 2007 as the title of "Academic".
Theatre productions

Performances "Malchish-Kibalchish", "I - Chicken, You - Chicken", "Gosling", "Semba", "Ivan the Great" and "Santa Claus" is especially loved by both adults and young viewers.
One of the most popular ideas is the "Christmas Night". It was this performance has already take 10 awards, taking part in international festivals.
