Tomb pioneers-heroes in Nikolaev Nikolaev is located within the necropolis, which is considered the largest and the oldest cemetery of the city, on the banks of the river Ingul. It is part of the park "Grieving Mother".

Tomb pioneers-heroes Shura Kober and Viti Khomenko - a true symbol of bravery and courage, and to honor the memory of the young revolutionaries who have been actively involved in the defense of his native city.

During the German occupation of Mykolaiv schoolchildren were active participants in the work of Nicholas underground center. Shura and Vitya were sent to the front line with an important report to the soldiers and leadership. On his return the young heroes, as well as other members of the resistance were executed by German soldiers.

Their bodies were buried in one of the mass graves in the old cemetery. For example, exploits young pioneers Shura and all the young people of Viti Nikolayev was raised many years. Today the tomb is the real center of the symbol of valor and heroism.
