Archaeological Festival "Rus Peresopnytsia", Peresopnytsia
That`s the fourth consecutive year in exactly will be the grand archaeological festival "Rus Peresopnytsia."
This 2015 event will take place on 3 July. The festival is a reconstruction of medieval battles 12-13 century.
It involves reenactors representing the territory of Kyiv Rus and neighboring states who visited the lands of Volyn in the period of history.
This year`s festival is expected a large number of exhibitors, last year there were about 100 reenactors, and not only from Ukraine, were guests and Lithuania. Anyone can visit the festival, plunge into the world of ancient history, to see firsthand how the battle took place in those days.
The festival will also be:
- visit the different fairs;
- take part in workshops with forging, carving stone and wood, basket weaving;
- see how pottery is made and baked them in ovens.
The festival program:
- medieval songs and dances performed by different folklore groups and ensembles;
- exhibition of local artists;
- contests on different subjects;
- competition shooting a crossbow, bow and javelin;
- horseback riding.
Archaeological Festival "Rus Peresopnytsia" promises its visitors a lot of interesting and unforgettable moments.
