The program Epiphany 2016 in Kiev
Epiphany is one of the biggest Christian holidays, which is regularly celebrated every year on January 6 Catholics and 19 Orthodox. Baptism is the final cycle of Christmas celebrations.
In Kiev, 2016 will be a citywide celebration with traditional Epiphany bathing in the river Dnieper. Many Ukrainian, especially residents of the capital, tried his hand at winter bathing in the hole. The official bathing places in the city are:
- Obolonska embankment;
- Rusanovskaya embankment;
- "Dnepr Riviera";
- beach in front hydro Venetian bridge;
- Mynysterka lake.

However blessing of the water at Lake Telbin next to the Church of the Nativity in birch and Goloseyevsky park near Holy Protection Monastery and in the park "Feofania".
- 14:00 - feast continued in the Park of Culture "water park" near the chapel of the Lord`s Baptism.
These measures will be the final cycle of Christmas celebrations in the capital.
The rules of safe bathing
- All swimmers at Epiphany generally in places where they can help rescue and medical services.
- Better choice specially adapted for winter bathing place, especially if the decision to plunge Epiphany 2016 will be the first time.
- Doctors warn that people swim with chronic cardiac and vascular diseases strictly prohibited.
- In swimming with a need to have a towel, warm clothes and a thermos of warm tea.
- To save their lives should not be drinking alcohol, either before or after swimming in the hole.
