John the Baptist Church

The erection of the Temple in honor of St. John the Baptist on the Embankment of the Dnieper was launched in 2007. 30-meter high building of the temple is in the shape of a Greek cross, it is crowned by a large bronze sculpture of John the Baptist. The statue was consecrated Metropolitan of Kiev and All Ukraine in 2010. Bell tower of the temple consists of 16 bells, the bell tower is equipped with modern computer-controlled. Church of St. John the Baptist is one of the most beautiful monuments of religious architecture in Dnipropetrovsk.
