Mykhailo Stelmakh Literary-Memorial Museum

The memorial museum of the famous Ukrainian writer Michael Stelmach opened May 24, 1989 in his native village. For this special building was constructed. The initiator of the museum acted as regional society of bibliophiles. Cultural complex has the status of a museum-library. On the first floor there are rural library and reading room. Second floor - a memorial exhibition halls and an office Bulgakov. The collection features writer`s personal belongings, photographs, documents, and books. In total, the museum includes more than 600 items.

Traditional village became a literary and artistic celebration of the writer`s birthday. It is held in May. Also increasingly held meetings admirers of the writer with his family and friends.

On average, each year the museum is visited by more than 1500 tourists. Open for visits and memorial estate of the writer, which includes parental home Stelmach and a wooden shed.

The museum is open from 09:00 to 18:00. Weekend - Saturday and Sunday. The Museum can be reached by bus from the city of Vinnitsa.
