T-10 Tank in Apostolove

The Great Patriotic War has left an indelible mark on the history of Ukraine. This event brought a lot of grief. The heroic deeds of our forefathers gave us the future. Many disputes conducted on this topic so far, but still important to remember the lessons of the past in order not to repeat them in the future.

In Apostolovo a memorial sign to the soldiers who heroically freed the land from invaders. In February 1944, along with other Soviet troops, heavy tank T-10 took part in the liberation of Apostolovo. Local battlefield were the last for this Soviet tank.

Now the tank stands on a pedestal. He is witnessing tremendous victories and bitter defeats. If he could speak, we would have learned a lot of new and unknown about the war. Today, his power reminds contemporaries about the terrible power of greed and human greed. This monument is sobering and encourages relatives to appreciate and love their native land.
