The memorial complex "fighters for freedom of Ukraine"
Memorial to the Fighters for freedom of Ukraine located in Stry, the former city jail, serving from 1898 to 1963. The exhibition was opened in the memory of the political prisoners who were tortured in these walls during the Soviet and Polish authorities, as well as in Austria-Hungary. The most brutal massacre was in 1941. Before the Red Army retreated, was produced by the mass execution of political prisoners.
Symbolically see the memorial complex wrought-iron fence, the elements of which resemble outstretched hands to heaven martyrs. Roses are woven fence as a sign of struggle, fortitude, defiance.
