Church of the Annunciation, Town

Town - one of those places that summer surrounded by greenery and freshness of the river, and in the winter snows zaporosheny. Like any city Carpathian here enchanting scenery, lots of different places of worship and a special flavor.

In the northern side of the city, on the high trees, where the pond, stands the church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Once upon a time there was a wooden church, transferred in 1547 from a small suburban town. Its modern form Annunciation Church received as a result of numerous rearrangements. The current stone building has existed since the 18th century. It should be noted that the composition of the church is almost identical to built a little earlier church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Lviv . Construction is one of the finest examples of Renaissance architecture in Ukraine. Near the church in the early 20th century bell tower was built next to which is a statue of the Virgin.
