Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary
Roman Catholic parish existed in Navaria with 1624. In 1621 the church was burned Crimean Tatars, soon he was again rebuilt in wood in 1630 and burned down. Only 10 years later, with the support of Elizabeth Gumnitskoy, construction began on a new marble church. It lasted for 4 years and in 1645 the temple lit and opened. A few years later, during the Khmelnytsky, the shrine was destroyed again. Again, the church was rebuilt in the 17th century. Recovery was led by the architect Bernard Meretin and lasted from 1740 to 1760.
The architectural style of the building - Baroque. The bell tower was built by the famous architect Peter Poleyovskogo Lviv. Bell tower and church work together to create a harmonious ensemble, which is a great illustrator of Lviv school of architecture. The church is located tombstone of its founder - Elizabeth Gumnitskoy.
