History and Local Lore Museum, Vynnyky

Vynnyky city has a rich history. It was first mentioned in 1352 in the Polish chronicles. The city became the cradle of many important milestones in the history of the country. The museum opened in 1991. Initially, it combines the meeting of private collections. Today, the museum has about 14 thousand various exhibits. The museum is divided into several sections: archeology, medieval and modern history, the relocation of the Lemko and others.

Deserves special attention of visitors exhibition objects made of bronze and white metal, which belong to the Early Iron Age! This is a very unique exhibits, rare in Ukraine. The museum also features a collection of old prints that once belonged to famous figures. The exposition of the museum is constructed so that it may be interesting and exciting to get acquainted with the history of VINNIKOV. The museum is open from 10:00 to 17:00, except on Saturdays.
