Salt Lake

Salt Lake - is an artificially created pond 85 km from Kirovograd . It was formed after the construction of the river dry artificial dam. The name received from local residents due to the properties of its waters. The lake from a nearby village Veselovka a dirt road.

The lake is rich balneological resources. At the bottom is a thick layer of blue clay. Basically, it is used to treat diseases of bones, joints, and skin diseases. The water is very salty. Dive to the bottom of the object is quite difficult, because the saturated salt water pushes to the surface. The salinity of water can be explained by the fact that before there was a border of an ancient sea. Basically shore Salt overgrown with reeds, but there are several man-made slopes. There is also planted shrubs.

Salt attracts tourists from all over, not only in Ukraine but also neighboring countries. According to its curative properties of water and clay does not yield the best lakes in Crimea. This is a true spa paradise in the heart of Ukraine.
