Church of the Holy Spirit, Chervonograd
Church of the Holy Spirit (or the Temple of the Descent of the Holy Spirit) was built in the late 17th century. This magnificent Baroque building is the most prominent in Chervonograd and the oldest temple in the city. Now in a former church is the Orthodox Church of St. Vladimir.

In the 50s of the last century the church was closed, it was used for other purposes and destroyed. In 1988, to commemorate the 1000th anniversary of the baptism of Rus-Ukraine, the church was transferred to the Orthodox community. Began its restoration.
The painting of the 18th century, which presented scenes from the life of St. Bernard and other leaders of the Order of Bernardine, has not survived. Elements were painted on the walls until 1990. But after the restoration of the temple repainted Volyn masters.
Changed the appearance of the temple. To the main dome were added four smaller, they painted in blue and decorated with stars.
In our time, the Roman Catholic community and to build a chapel building a new church of the Descent of the Holy Spirit, as the historic temple belongs to the Orthodox Church.
