St. Elias Church, Red

At the road, in the south of the village is the church of the Red St. Elias. Today it is visited only by local parishioners and casual tourists. But a few centuries ago, the temple was the largest religious building in all Bousquet district of Lviv region.

It is noteworthy that the log churches of St. Elijah is the property of the national architecture. Built in 1750 by the technique of "without a single nail," the church has retained its original appearance to date

Supports external beauty of the temple numerous restoration. The most ambitious of them took place in 1886-1900, respectively. Its result was the construction of a new bell tower near the church.

Curiously, the interior of the shrine is quite modest. Set of icons and ancient altar create a unique peaceful atmosphere in the temple.

One of the highlights of the Church of St. Elijah is well. Few people know the history of its authentic origin. But the majority of travelers say that the water in it has healing properties and excellent thirst quencher.
