Church of St. Sergius of Radonezh

Church of St. Sergius of Radonezh in Kiev, has a rich history that stretches since the 19th century. It is located near the gates of the Lower Lavra. Earlier in the building of the present church was located housing №112 First City Hospital for Infectious Diseases. The temple is built in the shape of the tower project, approved in 1879. For a long time there was situated the printing house monastery, and later the tower was sent to hospital use.

In 2010 it was decided to restore the church-chapel at the hospital. To this end, the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church consecrated nakupolnogo cross. In 2011, with the blessing of Metropolitan Vladimir church was consecrated.

To date, the construction of the temple complex continued. It`s almost finished building the Sunday school. The walls of the church are held as evening worship and Divine Liturgy. The doors of the temple open to all believers.
