Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary (Lopatin)
On the outskirts of the village of Lopatin and a half hour drive from Lviv proudly bright church in the late Baroque style. The church of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary was built in 1772 by the famous architect Bernard Meritina. In the late 19th century to the temple built a wide room.
On the walls of the old church are preserved beautiful paintings of the 18th century by the artist Stanislav Stroinski. They were restored in 1936.
Lopatinskii miraculous icon of the Mother of God was the main shrine of the temple. Now her image can be seen on the arms of the village. The very same shrine was moved to [[Poland]], and the church is now kept a copy.
In 1920, the army fired at Budennogo temple in Soviet times it was closed. But in the 90 years of the 20th century shrine returned to Roman Catholics. The church was restored with financial assistance from Poland.
Most recently, in August 2014, the community of the church were transferred to the relics of St. John Paul II.
