Church of the Ascension of the Lord, cherry

The city is a brand new cherry Ascension Cathedral - the card of the city, its spiritual center. The first services were held in the city in an unequipped room, same building of the temple was started only in the late 90s of the 20th century. The architecture of the temple is typical of the modern church buildings: no moldings, dome painted in a dark color, not framed in gold. Consecrated the church in 2001.

Church of the Ascension of the Lord - not just a temple and a church complex. It includes the lower church of Gregory the Great Martyr George, located next to the temple bell tower, an administrative building with a house church in honor of St. Luke. It created a powerful educational base, the church held lectures for adults, open Sunday school. In future expansion of the complex - will create a hotel complex and Orthodox secondary schools.

In 2011, the temple has been renovated, after which the church was re-consecrated.
