Church of the Nativity, Brovary

Church of the Nativity of the Virgin in the village Gogoliev existed since the beginning 17 century. This is evidenced by archival records in the annals of the region. The building was built of wood, so do not have survived to the present day.
Modern Church of the Nativity of the Virgin was built in 1827 year. Village church has impressive size and delightful architecture. The design, created in the traditional style of the Orthodox churches, has a symmetrical shape and compact size.
A distinctive feature of the architecture of the temple is a large number of wall paintings exterior. Here you can see dozens of angels, pictures of saints, as well as "All-seeing eye. " A significant part of the decoration of the church appeared in 1880 during the year scale reconstructions the buildings. During the Soviet rearrangements temple remained in force, it closed only once since the 1960s to the 1980s years.
