Church of the Intercession, Plishyvets
Church of the Intercession - a handmade treasure created by craftsmen in the early 20th century. Stone church was built in the period from 1902 to 1906. The curator of the project was the Bishop of Moscow Parthenius. His childhood years were spent in Plešivec .
Bishop picked one of the best architectural options for the future of the church building that embodies Ukrainian traditions and majesty of the Christian religion. The temple not only for many years famous for its beauty humble village Plešivec, but also became a monument architecture national significance.
Power facilities is an ideal combination of rare for its time building height (about 30 meters) with a refined exterior. Decorate high roof nine domes from different angles. To enhance the visual effect, the engineers used the tricks that make the interior of the rooms is very easy with a penetrating light side.
The iconostasis of the church, it is unfortunately not survived in their original form. It restored to this day, along with the rest of the building.
