Monument to Taras Bulba, Keleberda

Taras Bulba - eponymous hero works of Nikolai Gogol. No wonder this character was chosen as a monument, erected on the 200th anniversary of his birthday in Keleberda . Nearby is the monument to the soldiers who died during the crossing of the Dnieper in 1943.
Taras Bulba, sitting on a high rocky ledge, holding the tube in his mouth and looks thoughtfully at the wide expanse of the Dnieper. If he remembers the events of those days. Nearby there is a Cossack gun, and next to it a horse grazing, as symbols of strength and will of the Cossack people. The authors of this sculpture became Chepelyk V. and his son.
