Exaltation of the Cross Church, Kopychyntsi

Town Kopychincy , founded in 1443, is located in the Ternopil region. Small in territory occupied town has 7 sites, one of which is the Exaltation of the Cross Church. It is situated in the southern part of the village. Previously, this area was Kutetskim suburb, and now is the name the street where the church is located.

The wooden church was built in 1630. Its base referred to the merits of the Ukrainian Cossacks, which were headed by Hetman Bohdan Khmelnytsky. History also provides control of the territory by the Cossacks from 1648 to 1652. Near the temple built wooden bell tower, built in the classical style.

C erkov built on a low stone foundation. Entrance to the temple is decorated with 3 icons. The Church has to his simplicity, lack of intricate architectural elements. Groomed area fenced shrine patterned wall.
