Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary

The church is located in the city center Monastyriska . This building was built in 1727 at the expense of Joseph Potocki.   On the interior of the temple is the famous master Johann Georg Pinzel. In 1761 he built a beautiful church to the altar, which can now be seen in the Art Gallery of   Lviv . In addition, on the facade of the church has preserved an image that resembles a well-known third eye. And there are several memorial plaques, one of which is dedicated to the centenary of the birth of Adam Mickiewicz.

In Soviet times, this cult buildings also had a hard time. The church was closed and he was revived only in the 90s of the 20th century. Now the church is valid, it   belongs to the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church.
