Museum, Gusyatin
On one of the hills of the old part of the village Gusyatin located museum, which was founded in 1979. To date, the museum fund is about 16 thousand different items. Among them, the bones of animals, pottery, tools for agricultural work, clothing with hand embroidery, etc.
One of the halls of the museum entirely devoted to sanctuaries Bogit, once belonging to the "Zbruch cult centers." The museum even has a replica of the idol Zbruchanskaya Slavs - stone sculptures in the form of a column.
Until 2006, the museum exhibition was located in the building of the Jewish synagogue , built in the 16th century in Gothic-Moorish style. The original building was rather defensive than cultural. The walls of the first tier of the synagogue preserved cannon loopholes to our times. Defensive features of the structure has lost only a few decades later.
After an extensive renovation the building has undergone significant changes in the external facade as well as in interior design. Today, local history museum in Gusyatin closed to the public due to dilapidation of building construction.
