Khmelnytsky Oblast Art Museum

Art Museum of the city of Khmelnitsky was founded in 1986 in an old bank building, erected in the early 20th century. During the initial development of the museum has a collection of many paintings of Soviet artists and dozens of works of masters of the Ukrainian painting of the late 19th-early 20th century. Today, the museum features over 8,000 works of art, which include the work of 40 contemporary artists.

The museum`s exhibits thematically divided into several collections: Ukrainian painting of the late 19th-early 20th century, the 1920s and early 1980s, the second half of the 1980s and early 2000s, foreign art, Khmelnytsky artists and other meetings.
