Rock `petrified Bagachka "

Stone Rich Girl Rock is located near the confluence of the rivers Cheremosh and Putilov near the village of Ust-Putila in the Chernivtsi region. Looking for a unique pyramid-shaped pile of stone, a height of thirty meters, once again admire the great force of nature that is able to create such a beautiful miracle of nature.

The rock is called differently: Petrified Rich Girl, sworn or Enchanted Rock. There are several legends about the origin of the rock. According to one of them, in ancient times lived a rich and greedy landowner. Once came to her poor and hungry woman with a request to give her a loaf of bread, but instead of eating it gave her the stone cobbles. Impressed by greed landowner, a woman said angrily: "And would you let herself petrified!" - And at the same moment bogachka turned into rock.

Another name - Bishop - gave the Austrian colonists. The jagged peaks of the rocks reminded them episcopal crown.

Especially beautiful rock in the summer, when lush greenery surrounds the bizarre sculpture and makes it even more fabulous and attractive. It was at that time the largest influx of tourists who want to see one of the wonders of nature.
